The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for delivering Learning Without Tears (LWT) messaging to optimize and increase overall online revenue, and implementing list segmentation strategy through email, social, print, leads, and marketing revenue reporting.

Job Duties                              

  • Assist with the development, execution, and refining of LWT's email test and learn strategy.
  • Assist with the creation, curating, and optimizing lists for catalogs, mailers, non-workshop emails, and other targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Create and update reporting for social, leads, workshops, marketing revenue, and macro-level emails and assist with web reporting.
  • Project lead the design and content of the eNewsletters, eCommerce Emails, Generic Workshop Emails, Catchall Emails, and other emails as needed.
  • Monitor email deliverability, spot anomalies, and assist with strategy to implement corrections, as needed.
  • Keep abreast of best practices in email design and content and help drive this strategy and approach through the Marketing group.
  • Build automatic marketing campaigns in the marketing automation system.
  • Maintain and update the 12-month calendar for all marketing activities including e-newsletters, advertising, direct mail and content.
  • Assist with ongoing maintenance of all LWT's websites via content management systems, including placing copy, images, files, page set up and style guide adherence, as needed.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications, Editorial, and Product Development groups to ensure design and content curriculum updates are made in a timely manner.
  • Assist with usability/user experience work and reporting, as needed.
  • Assist with monitoring online comments and forums.
  • Assist with list creation for workshop emails.

Required Education/Skills

  • B.A. or B.S. or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years related experience in web design and development.
  • Knowledge of HTML, PHP basics, CSS style sheets and inline styles.
  • Experience creating and editing graphics and photos for use in online marketing materials.
  • Understanding of email marketing platforms, social media, webinars, video broadcasts, PPC advertising.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once while completing quality work on a timely basis.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in interacting with staff.
  • Ability to excel in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work on PC and Mac platforms.
  • Experience with web content management systems, including Drupal and Wordpress, and/or ecommerce shopping cart software.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, Google Adwords, and Adsense.
  • Understanding of Google Analytics or other web analytics software (omniture, webtrends, etc).
  • Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, jquery and javascript controls, other newer technology and web standards preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Graphic design experience preferred.
