The Presenter Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Presenter Manager in managing the Get Set for School | Handwriting Without Tears | Keyboarding Without Tears (GSS | HWT | KWT) Workshop Presenters and Assistants to ensure that the caliber and quality of educational offerings are top-quality, relevant, practically-oriented and serve the educational needs and market trends of key audiences.


Job Duties

  • Maintain knowledge and serve as a resource of Workshop Presenters' and Assistants' schedules and assist Presenter Manager, Workshop Manager, and Workshop Coordinators in correlating presenter and assistant assignments and schedules.
  • In collaboration with the Workshop Manager, create the quarterly schedules for the Workshop Presenters and Assistants.
  • Assist in articulating overall workshop goals to Workshop Presenters and Assistants and provide support to ensure that they are effectively accomplished.
  • In collaboration with Presenter Manager, develop and implement procedures and controls as needed, to promote communication and adequate information flow between offices and working groups.
  • Ensure Workshop Presenters and Assistants are prepared prior to workshops with appropriate marketing information.
  • In collaboration with Presenter Manager, ensure workshop changes are communicated to Presenters in scripts, files, and other means necessary to ensure implementation.
  • Foster continuous quality improvement by assisting the process for workshop follow-up; capturing, filtering, disseminating information and feedback and coordinating follow-up.
  • In collaboration with Presenter Manager, apprise Workshop Presenters and Assistants of current GSS | HWT | KWT news related to products, customers, and issues.
  • In collaboration with Presenter Manager, Workshop Manager, and Workshop Coordinators, maintain the Workshop Presenter website, posting updated content, training videos, presentation resources and Workshop Presenter and Assistant bios as necessary.
  • In collaboration with the Presenter Manager, Workshop Manager, Workshop Coordinators, and Accounting, create, review, and send weekly and monthly communication.
  • Under guidance of the Presenter Manager, provide technical assistance to Workshop Presenters and Assistants as it relates to GSS | HWT | KWT programs and equipment.
  • Maintain and update weekly, monthly, and quarterly group reports.
  • Track and record absences of the Workshop Presenters and Assistants.
  • In collaboration with the Presenter Manager, ensure company policies and procedures and requirements are being followed, including expense reporting, accounting policies, timekeeping, etc.
  • Assist in scheduling and booking travel arrangements for the Workshop Presenters and Assistants.
  • Assist in planning of Workshop Presenter and Assistant training.
  • Provide assistance to Workshop Presenters and Assistants with workshop and travel on-call as needed.
  • Participate in recording online webinar trainings. 

Required Education/Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent, B.A. or B.S. strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years related experience in administration, operations, education, or related field.
  • Practical experience with HWT materials and curriculum preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once while completing quality work on a timely basis.
  • Comfort working with sensitive & confidential information; excellent ethics and judgment.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with staff, customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to excel in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Expertise in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Cisco WebEx Meeting Center and Event Center or similar online training and meeting software preferred.
  • Strong service orientation.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time; ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer.
  • Ability to travel:
    • Approximately 1 - 2 trips per year.
    • Approximately 3 - 6 travel days per year.
    • Approximately 1 - 2% of working time.
