The Sales & Contract Coordinator is responsible for the administration of contracts, RFPs, and related documentation as requested by schools, districts or state personnel and providing support for Learning Without Tears (LWT) sales operations.           

Job Duties

  • With Manager, coordinate district contract approval and development process including drafting pricing agreement or contract with in-house counsel; delivering final document to respective Sales Territory Manager.
  • Work with Manager to facilitate RFP request procedures and processes. Coordinate staff needed to complete RFP forms and submit forms by due dates.
  • Prepare and submit school, district or state documentation as requested.
  • Monitor adoption requirements and schedules by state and/or district; prepare and submit required forms for successful completion of the adoption process within the stated deadlines.
  • With  Manager, work with Sales and Planning & Analysts teams to create a budget and business case for state adoptions.
  • Coordinate activities and logistics for state adoptions, searching for and selecting appropriate lodging and traveling arrangements; packing and shipping materials as needed.
  • With  Manager, select appropriate sample materials and ship to state adoption offices and reviewing sites.
  • Track states with cursive handwriting included in state legislature or standards.
  • Research state and federal funding streams and enter information on prepared document. Update Sales team as needed
  • Ensure the Sales team has materials needed to present LWT to school district personnel or attendees at local conferences.
  • Assist Tradeshow group to ensure conference materials and equipment are sent shipped timely, as needed.

 

Required Education/Skills

  • B.A. or B.S. in business administration or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years' experience in administration.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once while completing quality work on a timely basis.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with co-workers and customers.
  • Functional knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time; ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer.
  • At times, ability to move about and stand; Ability to bend, stretch, and use arms and hands to grip, move, hold and manipulate boxes, materials and travel equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
